DOVER — In Week 2 action of the Over-the-Hill Basketball League, River Bend Variety held on to edge out Thompson Tavern, 50-47, paced by 19 points from Jeff Barbour. Michael Bernier and Dave Hersey added 14 and 11 points, respectively for the winners. John Rademacher and Jake Bishop had 15 and 9 points each for Thompson.

Bolton Company cruised past Flynn Insurance in the second game with a 42-27 win, led by Michael Both with 14 points followed by Tom Vitko with 11 and Dan Meyers with 10. Vitko also had an impressive 8 rebounds. David Lewis and Grant Sidney each had 8 points for Flynn Insurance.

Finishing out the evening, RCC Construction squeezed past Civilworks New England in a 50-49 win. RCC was led by John Succi with 18 points followed by Chris Rogers with 13 and Doug Langdon with 9. For Civilworks, Barry MacDonald had 16 points, Greg Palmer had 13 points and 8 rebounds, and Jay Cloutier had 12 points.
