Flynn Insurance had their win streak stopped at two falling to River Bend Pizza, 42-34 in Week 5 play in the Over-the-Hill Basketball League. Paced by Mike Bernier’s 21 points for the second straight week RBP is now 4-1.   Rob Boshar had a good night with 10 points and 10 rebounds for Flynn in the loss.

Bolton Construction handed RCC Construction its first loss of the year in a solid 68-44 win.  Paced by three players score in double figures, Dan Meyers and Michael Both (20 points each) and Tom Vitko with 16,  Bolton is one of three teams at 4-1.  RCC was led by Chris Rogers (12) and Doug Langdon and John Succi, each with 11 points.

The final game saw Thompson Tavern break into the win column, beating Civilworks New England, 64-43.  John Rademacher’s 24 points and John Ricci with 15 led Thompson’s while Jay Cloutier scored 16 in a losing cause.  Civilworks New England is still looking for its first win of the season.

Three more games will be played on Wednesday, Dec. 29 in Dover.
