Civilworks New England Breaks into Win Column

Bolton Construction continued its winning ways with a 59-48 win over Thompson Tavern to open Week Six of the Over-The-Hill Basketball League. Michael Both’s 20 points led the way as they pulled away in the second half.  Dan Meyers (15) and Kenaan Al-Darraji (10 also scored in double figures.  For Thompson, Jeff Francoeur had 15 points, John Ganem scored 12 and Mike Moulton had 11 in the losing effort.

 

Led by Greg Palmer’s 14 points and Barry McDonald’s 13, Civilworks New England cracked the win column with their first victory of the season.  Civilworks never trailed in this one and bested River Bend Pizza 41-35.  Mike Bernier scored 24 points in the loss.

 

Doug Langdon’s 21-point night paced RCC Construction to a 51-38 victory over Flynn Insurance.  Langdon scored 15 points in the second half as RCC broke open the close game.  Flynn Insurance got balanced scoring from Matt Stith (12), Dave Blier (12), and Rob Boshar (10).

 

The league resumes with three more games on Wednesday, Jan. 5.
