Top Two Teams Keep Rolling Along

Even with missing key players, RCC Construction and Bolton Construction secured wins in the Over-the-Hill Basketball League this week.

 

RCC Construction received balanced scoring in a 56-32 win over Civilworks New England. Doug Langdon led with 16 points and got help from Rick Rudolph and Al Garcia, 11 and points respectively for their sixth win.  For Civilworks, Greg Palmer led the way with nine points and had 13 rebounds.

 

The second game of the night resulted with Thompson Tavern besting River Bend Pizza, 57-42. John Rademacher scored 18 of his 25 points in the first half to pace Thompson’s. He got help from Aaron Brown (13) and Jeff Francoeur (11). Mike Bernier’s 21 points topped RBP.

 

Dan Meyers (23 points) and Rich Palermo (17) helped Bolton Construction keep pace with RCC. They led the way as Bolton won over Flynn Insurance, 49-38. Flynn’s top scorers were Matt Stith and Rob Boshar, each with 14 points.

 

Both RCC Construction and Bolton Construction are 6-1 to lead the six-team league. Three games are slated this week in Dover.
