Injuries and the pandemic are having an impact on league play. There were just two games this week in Over-The-Hill hoops.
Thompson Tavern has won three of their last four games by virtue of their 48-34 win over Flynn Insurance. Trailing at the half Thompson outscored Flynn by 20 in the 2nd stanza to pull away. John Rademacher had 15 points and was helped by Mike Moulton’s 14 to lead the winners. Flynn Insurance welcomed back Grant Sidney from injury, and he led them with 12 points in the loss.
River Bend Pizza stopped a two-game losing streak by beating RCC Construction 53-36. Mike Bernier’s 23 points and Mike Donahue’s 12 paced the winners. Albert Garcia had a good game for RCC with 13 points.
The final game was a forfeit as Civilworks New England could not filed a team due to various absences. Bolton Construction gets credited with a win.
