Bolton Construction topped River Bend Pizza 46-38 behind Mike Both’s 20 points. Rich Palermo added 12 as the winners outscored RBP by 12 in the 2nd half. Jeff Barbour and Ty Powers scored 17 and 10 points respectively in the loss.

A depleted Civilworks New England team outlasted Flynn Insurance in game two. Balanced scoring for Civilworks led to a 55-47 win. Greg Palmer had 16 points and Ken Marier and Barry McDonald had 14 each to lead Civilworks. McDonald also had 15 rebounds. Grant Sidney of Flynn Insurance lead all scorers with a game-high 25 but it wasn’t enough.

Thompson Tavern jumped out to 27-11 halftime lead and never looked back in a 55-36 win over RCC Construction. Mike Moulton (14), John Ricci (13), John Rademacher (12) and Jeff Francoeur (10) all scored double digits in a total team effort. John Succi’s 15 points and Doug Langdon’s 14 paced RCC in the loss.
